After I wrote this, years ago, a term has come into use to replace the appalling inaccurate term TERF: F.A.R.T. - feminism appropriating reactionary transphobes (see here).
In lieu of TERF, as they are neither
radical nor feminist, GeSRTH - Gender Stereotype Reinforcing Trans Haters- and whatever the label, IMO in a few years they are going to be as thoroughly discredited and viewed with contempt as eugenicists and other racists who tried to "prove" racial stereotypes that don't exist.
