We are more than just
a physical body: we have a non-physical component as well as a physical
component (i.e., body). When the physical component ceases to function (i.e.,
the body dies), the non-physical component is no longer tied to focusing on the
physical world. It can, and should, return its focus to the non-physical worlds
for, just as there are physical and non-physical components or bodies to us,
there are physical and non-physical worlds.
When the non-physical
of an entity which no longer has physical fails to change its focus back to the
non-physical (which is almost universally experienced or perceived as a
movement from one dense, lower frequency level of reality to a finer, higher
frequency level of reality (possibly complete with tunnel of light), it is
described as being earthbound.
In this condition, as
well as being focused on the physical, it may influence or cause effects in the
world within which it is focused, by a wide range of means such as …
telepathically affecting the non-physical components of those entities who
still have a physical component.
The process of
getting an earthbound entity’s focus ‘unstuck’ so it can ‘move on’ (meaning,
shift its focus back to the non-physical) is termed ‘rescue‘.
As of the time this
definition was written, I’ve touched on this idea in the following posts:
